Studio Standards & Etiquette (Effective 5/15/21)

Disinfection Procedures

Medical-grade, EPA-registered disinfectants which are designated effective against the COVID-19 virus with a kill time of less than one minute will be used for all continuous and deep-cleaning processes. This will be used to fully disinfect lobby, studio, and group fitness equipment between use.

Modified Studio Hours & Equipment

We will be adjusting group fitness schedule to allow for thorough cleaning and disinfecting in-between classes. We will allow 30-60 minutes between group fitness classes for disinfecting the studio and all equipment.

Hand Sanitizers

Members will be asked to use hand sanitizer when entering the studio and frequently throughout their visit. The hand sanitizer solution kills up to 99.9% of germs and includes 67% ethyl alcohol, above and beyond the CDC’s guidelines of 60%, with added Aloe vera and essential oils. Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the studio.

Disinfectant Wipes

Members will be asked to use disinfectant wipes on equipment before and after use in addition to the studio's cleaning protocols. Our disinfectant wipes, approved by the EPA for use against COVID-19 are proven to kill 99.99% of bacteria, viruses & fungi on equipment while having the safest EPA Toxicity Rating. Disinfectant wipes will be available throughout the studio.

Health Check

Members and our team will be required to complete a mandatory Health Declaration before each studio visit to confirm they are not experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, nor have they come in contact with someone who is experiencing symptoms.

Temperature Checks

Members and our team will have body temperatures taken prior to entering the studio via iHealth No-Touch thermometers. Per CDC guidelines, individuals with a body temperature greater than 100.4 degrees, or local guidelines, will not be permitted entry into the club.

Members will be asked to alert the studio owner, Kelly Machusky via email , or phone, 516-713-1179 if they test positive for COVID-19 within 14 days of their last studio visit. We will then send an email to all potentially exposed persons if there is a confirmed case of COVID-19 at the studio.

Limited Studio Capacity 

We will keep occupancy under 50% of maximum capacity at all times.

Signage and Floor Markers

So members can give each other enough space, physical distancing stickers will be marked throughout the the studio. Physical distancing signs will show each member where to set up for group fitness classes ensuring 6 ft. distance between personal, unless safety or core function of the work activity requires a shorter distance. Any time personnel are less than 6 ft. apart from one another, personnel must wear acceptable face coverings.

Personal Protective Equipment 

Our team members will be provided with face masks, which will be required to be worn in the studio at all times. Members must wear a mask when entering the studio, when within 6 feet of others, and in all common areas, including lobby, studio, Pilates studio, and restroom area. 


It is recommended, but not required that members wear gloves during their visit.

Front Desk

New plexiglass barriers are designed to provide a protective shield between members and the Front Desk. For convenience and to minimize contact, members will be asked to use their credit card on file in the MINDBODY app for in studio purchases.

Check In

Temperature checks and hand sanitizer use will be required prior to entering the studio. Scanless check-in and plexiglass barriers will allow for safe and seamless entry to the studio. You can arrive to the studio 10 minutes prior to class. Once class starts, doors will be locked and you can not enter if you are late.

No hands-on adjustments will occur during group fitness classes or private sessions.


Our team will set up the studio beforehand with equipment. If a member requires other equipment, a team member will be available to assist. Only team members will be permitted to handle the equipment.

Booking & Cancelation Policy

Booking window - You will only be able to book 7 days out at a time. You cannot book multiple classes per day

Class starts on time and the door will be locked once class starts. You can only arrive 10 minutes before class, no earlier to ensure we have enough time to clean the studio between classes. No late arrivals will be let into the studio. 

Early cancel: Allows the member to cancel their class without any penalty. When a client is early cancelled within the cancellation window (12 hours before the start of a class), a client on the waitlist will automatically move into the empty spot on the roster.

Late cancel:  Allows the member to cancel their class, but will receive a penalty fee of $5 for each late cancel. 

No show: Is recorded when a member has registered for a class, and does not show up or cancel. You will receive a $10 penalty fee for each no show.
